Description

Highlights: • Two isomeric pairs of high-capacity polyimides are synthesized. • The polyimide cathode provides a high capacity of 202 mAh g−1 for Li cells. • The redox potentials are slightly lower than the monomers. • The effects of isomerism are discussed.
