EPRI Severe accident research programs
Description
This paper gives an overview of the direction of severe accident related work directly sponsored by EPRI and projects such as the Advanced Containment Experiments (ACE) that EPRI manages on behalf of cosponsoring organizations. Specifically discussed are EPRI's work on the jointly sponsored LACE/ACE programs and Natural Circulation Experiments, the development and application of the Modular Accident Analysis Program (MAAP) and plans for accident management research
