Radiodiagnosis of chronic pancreatitis in children

Description
A combined clinicoroentgenological study using routine X-ray methods, of 136 pediatric patients with chronic pancreatitis was performed. The results of routine X-ray investigation of the GI tract upper parts in combination with cholecystography added by relaxation duodenography, made it possible to define diagnostic criteria to measure pancreatic involvement. The comparison of the peculiarities of roentgenosemiotics with clinical signs of disease made it possible to specify the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis
