Description
A laboratory was equipped at CERN for casting pellicles and films from emulsion gel. The plant is described in the paper. Tests are reported, and the procedure finally adopted is outlined. In 1983-1984, a considerable number of plates were cast in the plant for the CERN experiment WA75, amounting to more than 80 litres of dry emulsion. (author)
