Expedtion investigations of multiple neutrons of a leadless monitor and their possible applications

Description
Investigations of the environment effect (river banks, sluice walls, open sea) on neutron intensity detected by a leadless neutron monitor are performed. Experiments were carried oUt during expeditionary measuring of planetary cosmic rays (CR) distribution along the line Moscow-Petrozavodsk-Arkhangelsk-Leningrad-Klypeda. Time dependence of 5-minute data of CR intensity is presented. Recording of multi-plicity is introduced in addition to recording of total intensity in the White Sea-Baltic sea channel. Data on multiplicity are in many ways more sensitive to the environment effect, as compared to data on CR total intensnty. It is shown that information on environment will be more complete, if we conduct neutron detection by both methods
