Description

Within the framework of the coordinated research program on 'charge exchange cross section data for fusion plasma studies' theoretical studies have been performed for multiply charged ions collisions with hydrogen and helium atoms in eV and keV energy range. These studies have been done within the semiclassical close-coupling method, with atomic orbitals and atomic-orbital-like pseudostates representing the motion of the one or two active electrons in those states
