Radioecological model of 90Sr and 137Cs transfer in the river system Iset-Tobol-Irtysh

Description
The complex radioecological model has been developed to describe the radionuclide transfer in the river system Iset-Tobol-Irtysh. The model consists of two interrelated compartments: evaluation of the radionuclide migration in abiotic components of river (water, bottom sediments) and calculation of the radionuclide bioaccumulation in different ecological groups of fish. Using the model the activity concentrations of 90Sr and 137Cs in water, bottom sediments and fish (ide, pike) from the Iset, Tobol and Irtysh Rivers have been evaluated. Calculations have been performed for the current level of the radionuclide release from Techa to Iset River

Разработана комплексная радиоэкологическая модель переноса радионуклидов в речной системе Исеть-Тобол-Иртыш. Модель состоит из двух взаимосвязанных блоков: расчета миграции радионуклидов в абиотических компонентах реки (вода, донные отложения) и оценки накопления радионуклидов в различных экологических группах рыб. С помощью предложенной модели рассчитаны удельные активности 90Sr и 137Cs в воде, донных отложениях и рыбе (язь, щука) р.
