Description
In order to meet the demand of Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) experimental electronics system for large data transmission, Huffman coding is used to study the data processing of electronics. Real-time processing and compression of large amounts of data was achieved by combining the Huffman Coding with deviation calculation. The results of a large number of simulation show that the algorithm can reach compression rate of 25% while maintain the original information; the algorithm has good stability and can maintain stable compression rate for different experimental data. This paper provides a reference scheme for data compression in JUNO. (authors)
