Aqueous processing of sulphated cake from the kaolin clay
- 1. Scientific Research Institute of Metallurgy of State Unitary Enterprise 'Tajik Aluminum Company' (Tajikistan)
Description
The present article is devoted to study of aqueous processing of sulphated cake from the kaolin clay. The chemical and mineral composition of sulphated cake and initial kaolin clay of Ziddi Deposit has been determined by means of X-ray phase analysis. The dependence of extraction rate of alumina on process duration, temperature and ratio of solid and liquid phases has been defined. The optimal conditions of processing of sulphate comprising solution has been defined as well.
