Description

Spin distribution of several evaporation residues populated via complete and incomplete fusion dynamic have been measured for the system 19F + 154Sm at beam energy ≈ 5.2 MeV/A implying particle-γ-coincidence technique. It is observed that the experimentally measured spin distribution patterns of residues populated via complete fusion is quite different than that of incomplete fusion. The feeding intensity profile shows the residue produced through the complete fusion dynamic have broad spin and stats to populate starting from zero to the critical angular momentum. Presently, the higher mean input angular momentum is observed for evaporation residue produced through incomplete fusion than that by complete fusion. Moreover, it is pointed out that the mode of population (complete and/or incomplete fusion) depends on the input angular momentum
