Oxidation of tetrafluoroderivatives of benzene by cerium (4) perchlorates
Description
Mechanisms of hydroquinone, phenol and aniline 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoroderivatives oxidation by cerium (4) ions have been suggested on the basis of experimental data and electron and spin densities of radicals, cation-radicals, as well as enthalpies of possible intermediate products, calculated by the AM1 method. The factors impeding the oxidation of 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoronisol using Ce(4) are shown
