Description
To determine survival outcome and loco-regional recurrence, we have retrospectively reviewed 77 patients given postoperative radiotherapy for breast conservative surgery. All patients received 50 Gy of external irradiation to the whole breast via tangential ports with or without boost. Median follow-up length was 54 month. Two patients experienced recurrence and one patient was died. Five year overall and freedom from recurrence survival was 98.2% and 97.4% respectively. (author)
