Development and application of nuclear three dimensional visual cable routing collaborative design platform

Description
The situation that there are a huge number of cable with complex classification and strict demand on cable routing design in the nuclear power plant, make the cable routing design very difficult. In order to solve this problem, a three-dimensional visual cable routing collaborative design platform (Called 'CRS' for short) self-developed by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd, is presented in this paper. This platform is with friendly graphical user interface and easy to use. By using this platform, users can carry out three-dimensional visual and automated cable routing design directly based on the three-dimensional layout design platform PDMS. In addition, the algorithm of cable route search has been optimized which makes the speed of cable route search for CRS about 2 orders of magnitude higher than foreign systems of the same kind. Besides, the standard database management and release platform has been developed to realize the cable routing collaborative design with related professional design. This platform has been successfully applied to Ning De, Yang Jiang, Tai Shan nuclear power plant project and etc.. Over 100000 cable routing design has been finished to prove the effectiveness, accuracy and advantage of this platform. (authors)
