Possible approach to the problem of quantitative comparison and selection of npp sites
Description
Considered is a method for selection an acceptable site of three sites proposed for NPP. The site must be suitable as for radiation protection and minimum risk for local population and environment. The above method is probable and estimates sites quantitatively by the degree of their suitability. The possibility of the appearance of weather conditions at the site, including direction and speed of wind and atmosphere stability category in combination; these results are correlated with population density distribution in the site area. Limit of arbitrary relative concentration of radioactivity is selected to correspond to the limit of radiation dose, below this limit the possibility of damage effects is low. Atmosphere stability categories are characterized by wind speed and by parameters of scattering of gaseous acrosol effluents
