Exact dyon solutions in SU3 gauge theory
Description
Two exact finite-energy monopole and dyon solutions are found in an SU3 gauge theory broken down in the case of one solution to U1 x U1 and in the case of the other to U2 via Higgs scalar fields. One of them is an embedding of O3 into SU3, but the other is a genuine irreducible SU3 solution. Both solutions are stable. (author)
