Z3 centre thermoluminescence and sensitization mechanism in lithium fluoride
Description
Radiation-induced sensitization in lithium fluoride is further explored. Absorption, bleaching, and phototransfer measurements on the Z3 centre band are performed. Corresponding thermoluminescence effects are also observed. The results confirm 1. the indirect dependence of sensitization on Z3 centres, 2. the correlation of Z3 centres to TL peak X, and 3. support the mechanism of the TCLC model presented earlier.
