Uniformization of the forward scattering amplitude at high energies

Description
It is assumed that the hadron-hadron forward elastic scattering amplitude as a function of the laboratory energy ν can be uniformizated by the variable w(v)=(1/π) arc sin ν. As a consequence of this assumption, the scattering amplitude is written in a form of a convergent series fitting well the available data for pp, anti p p, π+-p- and K+-p scattering at ν (>=) 10 GeV. The values of sigmasub(tot) are predicted up to the energies = or approximately 103 GeV
