Description

As carriers of the statutory accident insurances the trade associations of the Federal Republic of Germany are competent for the compensation of occupational accidents and diseases. The lecture deals with the legal fundamentals of compensation and explains how it is employed (examples). The significance of the radioepidemiological tables of the National Institutes for Health of the USA for medical expert opinion is considered. (orig./DG)

Abstract (German)

In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland sind die gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften als Traeger der gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung fuer die Entschaedigung von Arbeitsunfaellen und Berufskrankheiten zustaendig. Das Referat befasst sich mit den rechtlichen Grundlagen der Entschaedigung und erlaeutert die Entschaedigungspraxis (Beispiele). Auf die Bedeutung der Radioepidemiologischen Tabellen der Nationalen Institute fuer Gesundheit der USA fuer die medizinische Begutachtung wird eingegangen. (orig./DG)
