On the interpretation of the spectrum of the massive spectroscopic binary HDE 228766

Description
The double-lined spectroscopic binary HDE 228766 is shown to consist of a very early Of star and a rapidly rotating, late 0 supergiant. As a consequence of this reinterpretation of the spectrum, an earlier conclusion that the emission-line star is much less massive than its companion requires reconsideration.
