Description

The present omnibus book gives a good overview of the state of the art in agricultural biogas technology. It permits a comparative assessment of the various plant concepts for energy production from organic residues from stock farming and the food processing industry. In this connection the costs the operator of a plant incurs plays a decisive role, and the opinions on this issue are highly contradictory. Fourteen papers were abstracted individually. (orig./EF)

Das vorliegende Arbeitspapier gibt einen guten Ueberblick ueber den gegenwaertigen Stand der Biogastechnologie in der Landwirtschaft. Es ermoeglicht eine vergleichende Bewertung der verschiedenen Anlagenkonzepte zur Energieerzeugung aus den organischen Reststoffen der Tierhaltung und der lebensmittelverarbeitenden Industrie. In diesem Zusammenhang spielen die Kosten, die der Anlagenbetreiber fuer das erzeugte Biogas aufzubringen hat und ueber die bisher nur sehr widerspruechliche Angaben vorliegen, eine entscheidende Rolle.
