Description

In this work, the Monte Carlo analysis of the distribution of the particle rate of the X-rays produced in radiodiagnostic procedures is presented. The work was done with the MCNP6 code with which a rotating anode X-ray tube was modeled and the primary spectra of X-rays produced during the interaction of 120 keV monoenergetic electrons were calculated, which are compared with the spectra it generates. SpekCalc software and IPEM Report 78. To visualize the distribution, X-ray spectra were generated varying some parameters such as: the anode angle (10, 12, 15 and 20 degrees) and the type of target (Tungsten, Molybdenum and Rhodium). In order to have good statistics, 109 stories were used using the F5 estimator. This information will be used to have a catalog of X-ray spectra with their particle rate distribution. (author)
