The determination of the lattice parameter for GdCo2
Description
A report is presented on the X-ray analyses of specimens of the cubic Laves phase compounds GdCo2. The preparation of the specimens is described. Both stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric proportions of gadolinium were used. Values are given for the lattice parameter and for the stacking fault parameter. Some problems arising during the work are discussed. (U.K.)
