On a correlation between nucleons from the 12C(γ,pn)10B reaction

Description
2936 events of the 12C(γ, pn)10B reaction are selected using the method of diffusion-chamber in magnetic field. The mean value of the real part of the optical potential is estimated basing on validity of the photon-pair absorption mechanism at intermediate energies. The distribution of events over the relative momentum of the nucleons for the pn pair is obtained at the moment when interaction with the gamma quantum occurs. Information on the nucleon-nucleon correlation function is extracted
