National Report of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Implementation of the IAEA Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources

The UK remains committed to the objectives of the IAEA Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources (the" CoC", and the associated Guidance on the Import and Export of Radioactive Sources (the "Guidance"). This report provides an update of any changes that have been made since the UK last reported to the IAEA at the Open Ended Meetings on the Code of Conduct in 2010. The report briefly outlines the developments in legislation, regulatory bodies and stakeholder engagement in addition to some other initiatives that demonstrate that compliance with the spirit of the Code of Conduct remains of importance to the UK.
