Study of rate dependence of AY-17-8, AMP ionite granule sedimentation on iodine concentration in their

Description
Experimental study of the dynamics of free sedimentation of AV-17-8 and AMP ionite granules saturated with iodine in solutions of sodium chloride has been conducted. Iodine concentration has been changed from 0.950 to 6.30 mg-equiv./g, sodium chloride concentration in solution - from 1.0 to 3.0 mg-equiv./cm3, the temperature - from 20 to 40 deg. It is shown that the character of experimental data deviation from the calculated ones depends on iodine concentration in ionite and NaCl concentration in solution. The value of correction coefficient is determined. At iodine concentration in ionite 4.0 mg-equiv./g and higher the value of the latter does not depend on chloride concentration in solution and in ionite type
