Relativistic nonlinear cyclotron waves in a warm electron-ion plasma
Description
The propagation of relativistic nonlinear circularly polarized waves along a uniform magnetic field in a streaming warm electron-ion plasma is examined. It is shown that, in the presence of extremely intense waves, the ions play an important role on wave properties. In addition, it is shown that a finite temperature increases the effective inertia of plasma. (author)
