Photometric determination of molybdenum and germanium in glass by azo derivatives of pyrocatechin in the presence of cetyl pyridinium chloride

Description
For molybdenum and germanium determination it is suggested that azo derivatives of pyrocatechol in the presence of cetylpyridinium chloride should be used. Optimal conditions for the complexing with thiazolylazopyrocatechol and n-nitrobenzeneazopyrocatechol are found. Methods for the determination of molybdenum small amounts in glasses produced by cooking with MoO3 electrodes and germanium in fiber-optical elements are developed
