Description
An optimized algorithm is presented in detail to study SU(3) lattice gauge theory with dynamical quarks by the Monte Carlo technique, where the fermion determinant is treated in an exact manner. The algorithm allows a large Markov step in each Monte Carlo updating and produces data without any bias due to approximations. The algorithm was implemented and tested on CRAY-1M, CRAY-XMP, Fujitsu VP200 and VP400. The optimized choice of parameters is discussed. (orig.)
