A geometrical model simulation of heavy-ion-nucleus collisions

  • 1. Marburg Univ. (Germany). Fachbereich 13 - Physik

Description

A model is presented, based on simple geometrical assumptions, which simulates experimental results from nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies. This model makes different predictions than those made by calculations done so far to explain the results of Cu-block experiments. The model succeeds without the help of anomalous assumptions on cross sections. (Author)
