A pile up rejection amplifier for high count rate

Description
The author describes a spectroscopy amplifier designed for high count-rate operation. The throughput of this amplifier is about 103 s-1. It has functions of baseline restoration and pile up rejection. The pile up rejection circuit gives a flag to tell whether the semi-Gauss pulse is piled up or not
