Detection of degradation products by irradiation of nuts
Description
This investigation could show, that irradiation treatment of nuts by analyzing irradiated induced hydrocarbons works perfectly by the procedure 35 LMBG L 06.00.37. For the detection of hydrocarbons we suggest to use a GC/MS-system, because it is nessesary to confirm a positive result by a mass-spectrum. Irradiated material is detected if the following hydrocarbons are present: 1,7-16:2, 8-17:1. 6,9-17:2

Die Methode zur Untersuchung von Lebensmitteln nach Paragraph 35 LMBG L 06.00.37 erwies sich auch fuer die hier untersuchten Nuesse als geeignet. Letztlich ist eine Probe bei einem Nachweis der Kohlenwasserstoffe 1,7-16:2, 8-17:1, 6,9-17:2 als bestrahlt zu betrachten.
