Determination of selenium in human blood plasma in Thai health and disease by radiochemical neutron activation analysis

Description
Neutron activation analysis in conjunction with dry combustion technique was applied in the preliminary investigation of the selenium content in human blood plasma. Normal levels of selenium in Thai people were obtained. The average concentration was 0.098 micro-gram/ml. In comparison with the diseases, some groups of patients were studied
