Enthalpy of formation of niobium tetrachloride

Description
In the solution calorimeter with isothermal shell at 298.15 K enthalpies of the reactions of NbCl5 (cryst.), NbCl4(cryst.), NaNO3(cryst.), NaNO2 (solution 48.6 H2O), HCl (solution 17.1 H2O), H2O (g) with the solution of 0.50, K2Cr2O7x0.454 HFx0.498HClx55, 497H2O(mol.l-1) are determined. On the basis of the data obtained the value of standard formation enthalpy of formation ΔfHdeg[NbCl4, cryst., 298.15 K]=-705.51±2.0 kJxmol-1 is calculated
