A nonlinear observer for estimating distributed parameter system states in reactor systems
Creators
- 1. Pennsylvania State Univ., University Park, PA (United States)
Description
A theoretical development is presented for translating observer feedback terms developed for an analytical modal system model (in a linear state-space form) to a finite difference model of the same system. Results demonstrate good performance of the finite difference observer for state estimation of both a linear and nonlinear open-quotes plantclose quotes simulation
