Determination of thermodynamic characteristics of nickel-germanium melt from short-range order parameters

Description

Method for determination of thermodynamic coefficients in multi-component alloys developed for solid solution model, is applied for determination of thermodynamic coefficients of nickel-germanium binary melt at the temperature of 1773 K. Concentration dependences of integral, surplus and partial Gibbs molar energies, integral and surplus entropies were found on the basis of the obtained concentration dependence of thermodynamic coefficient dependence of thermodynamic coefficients. Conclusion is made on possibility of this method application. The areas of a the method applicability are pointed out
