When A. Jaun, T. Hellsten, Chiu, S.C. published their article: Toroidal mode conversion in the ICRF in the Nuclear Fusion journal, they interpreted the published work by V.E.Moiseenko wrongly. In this article the errors concerning the mhd eigenmodes in question are exposed and corrected
