Functional approach to a superconductivity-type quark-model with broken SU(4)-symmetry

The author discusses a generalized superconductivity-type quark model with approximate chiral SU(4) flavour symmetry. This model leads to estimates for quark masses in reasonable agreement with those obtained by other means
