On the systematics of relative delayed neutron yields
Creators
Description
Aimed at predicting lacking but necessary for reactor physics data the dependence of delayed neutron yields on mass and atomic numbers of a fissioning nucleus has been analyzed. Corresponding regularities have been established. As an example there have been considered some uranium and plutonium fissioning isotopes and a family of bromine isotope fission products. The analysis conducted has shown that there is no need to measure delayed neutron yields from all fissioning isotopes. The data needed can be obtained using established regularities with a satisfactory accuracy
