Description

Samples of cadmium sulfide monocrystals were studied. The obtained experimental results are described in brief, an assumption is made on the reasom, for relative difference in properties of screw and edge dislocations discovered in different papers. It is concluded that mechanisms of electric activity of edge and screw dislocations differ in a prismatic slip system. Activity of a screw dislocation manifests in its higher ability to capture point defects and thus to stimulate processes of diffusion displacement of the latters. Adsorption of point defects on a package defect of a splitted nucleus of the screw dislocation is one of the possible mechanisms of the capture
