For reducing radiation exposition during X-ray examination of the hip joints of newborns, following tasks must be fulfilled: Developing a simple standardized x-ray method, checking the radiological-diagnostical value of the X-ray pictures, and checking the dose reduction in comparison with the conventional method. Zur Verringerung der Strahlenbelastung bei Roentgenuntersuchungen der Hueftgelenke von Saeuglingen werden folgende Aufgaben gestellt: Entwicklung einer einfachen, standardisierten Aufnahmetechnik, Ueberpruefung des radiologisch-diagnostischen Aussagewertes der Aufnahmen und Ueberpruefung der Dosisreduktion im Vergleich zu der konventionellen Technik.
