Provision of frequency response services by wind: key messages - June 2018
Description
The aim of this study is to assess the technical, economic and regulatory barriers to the participation of wind power in frequency system services for power system balancing. It presents the main recommendations made to encourage wind power's participation in system services. These technical and economic recommendations, aimed at France Renouvelables and the various stakeholders, are intended to change the rules governing participation in the balancing of the electricity system operated by the French network operator RTE
