  • 1. Institute of Physics and Nuclear Techniques, Krakow (Poland)

Description

The paper discusses some details of the 230Th/234U and the electron spin resonance (ESR) dating methods applied to carbonate cave deposits known as speleothems. Advantages and limitations of these two methods are compared. Preliminary dates of the speleothem samples collected in caves of Central and Southern Poland are presented. (author)
