Modeling of Isotopic changes of water during evaporation

Description

The results of laboratory experiments aimed at quantifying isotope effects occurring during partial evaporation of water samples from leaky containers are presented and discussed. Water samples stored in leaky containers change their isotopic composition by 0.35% and 1.1% for δ2H and δ18O, respectively, for 15 of mass loss. (author)
