Evaluation of talk shows dissemination of nuclear science and technology through television and radio in a media crew perspective

Although it is recognized that the use of nuclear science and technology is able to be seen in various fields. Many people are afraid of radiation. This phenomenon is one of the reasons why nuclear is so difficult to accept by society. Through talk shows, the dissemination of nuclear science and technology has continued for several years. To see the effectiveness of these activities, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation so that recommendations are produced for improvements to similar activities in the future. By using quantitative descriptive methods and questionnaire techniques, media crews as respondents. To see the effectiveness of the talk shows and customer satisfaction, the TTB (Top Two Boxes) approach was used and the result was that the talk shows effectiveness index was 92.9 %. Based on Bloom's Taxonomy theory, the perception of organisms includes 3 domains, namely the realm of knowledge 93.9 %, attitude 93.9 % and action or practice 90.9 %. The role of the communicator (resource person) in this activity contributed greatly to the clarity of conveying the material. It is concluded that the frequency of talk shows dissemination is still low, it is better if the talk shows can be applied with a variety of more attractive methods and can involve many publics so that it will have a big influence on the acceptance of nuclear science and technology.
