Description
The application of isotope methods for determining origin of water in mine leakages is discussed on examples of measurements of tritium, C-14 and stable isotope content of waters in several salt, and other, mines. Hydraulic connections are also controlled by making use of Co-60 in the form of K3Co(CN)6. An example of the determination of the turnover time of a surface water reservoir is also mentioned.
