[en] This paper presents a model to analyze the mechanism of the global contribution of energy usage by product exports. The theoretical analysis is based on the perspective that contribution estimates should be in relatively smaller sectors in which the production characteristics could be considered, such as the productivity distribution for each sector. Then, we constructed a method to measure the global contribution of energy usage. The simple method to estimate the global contribution is the percentage of goods export volume compared to the GDP as a multiple of total energy consumption, but this method underestimates the global contribution because it ignores the structure of energy consumption and product export in China. According to our measurement method and based on the theoretical analysis, we calculated the global contribution of energy consumption only by industrial manufactured product exports in a smaller sector per industry or manufacturing sector. The results indicated that approximately 42% of the total energy usage in the whole economy for China in 2013 was contributed to foreign regions. Along with the primary products and service export in China, the global contribution of energy consumption for China in 2013 by export was larger than 42% of the total energy usage.
[en] Neutrino production of electron–positron pairs via the processes → e−e+ and ν → νe−e+ in a moderately strong magnetic field is investigated. Under these conditions electrons and positrons can be produced in the states corresponding to excited Landau levels. The results can be used for calculating the efficiency of the electron–positron plasma production by neutrinos in the conditions of the accretion disk around a Kerr black hole.

[en] Theoretical models describing the production of vector mesons in coherent ultraperipheral nucleus-nucleus interactions are considered. The experimental data on the coherent and incoherent production of ρ0 mesons at the STAR setup (BNL, USA) are analyzed.
[en] Production of the ψ(2S) and ϒ(3S) mesons is considered in the framework of the leading order parton Reggeization approach and within the NRQCD factorization hypothesis. A self-consistent description of the pT spectra at low pT (fusion model) and high pT (fragmentation model) is obtained. The fusion model predictions for polarization observables agree with experiment for ϒ(3S) and are at variance with experiment for ψ(2S).

[en] Historically all fission products, including fission gases have been included in the criticality analysis of many spent fuel pools (SFP). For transport casks ISG-8 Rev. 3 states, 'Credit for neutron absorbing isotopes other than those identified in Tables 1 and 2 should be accompanied by assurance that such isotopes are non-volatile, and non-gaseous,..' Recent questions from the NRC have challenged using fission gases in spent fuel pool criticality analyses, noting that the time the fuel is contained in the spent fuel pool can be long. This paper establishes a conservative approach for using some of the fission gases in the criticality analysis. Calculations have been performed for Indian Point Unit 2 to determine the impact of the fission gas release. The calculations have been run with the noble gases reduced by 32%, the halogens reduced by 10% and the Rb reduced by 44%. At 43 GWd/MTU, the impact of reducing the isotopes described here is only 0.0014 in k. (authors)
[en] In the context of connections between algebras coming from quantum integrable systems and algebras associated to the orthogonal polynomials of the Askey scheme, we prove that the truncated reflection algebra attached to the Yangian of sl 2 is isomorphic to the Hahn algebra. As a by-product, we provide a general set-up based on Euler polynomials to study truncations of reflection algebras. (letter)
[en] A dynamics (i.e. a one-parameter group of automorphisms) of a system described by a C *-algebra with a local structure in terms of C *-subalgebras A (I ) for local domains I of the physical space (a discrete lattice) is normally constructed out of potentials P (I ), each of which is a self-adjoint element of the subalgebra A (I ), such that the the first time derivative of the dynamical change of any local observable A is i times the convergent sum of the commutator [ P (I ), A ] over all finite regions I. We will invert this relation under the assumption (obviously assumed in the usual approach) that local observables all have the first time derivative, i.e. we prove the existence of potentials for any given dynamics satisfying the above-stated condition. Furthermore, by imposing a further condition for the potential P (I ) to be chosen for each I that it does not have a portion which can be shifted to potentials for any proper subset of I, we also show (1) the existence, (2) uniqueness, (3) an automatic convergence property for the sum over I, and (4) a quite convenient property for the chosen potential. The so-obtained properties (3) and (4) are not assumed and are very useful, though they were never noticed nor used before. We consider a system of finite kinds of finite spins and fermions on a discrete lattice, local regions being all finite subsets of the lattice and all local algebras being full matrix algebras of finite dimensions. For all dynamics for which all elements of any local algebra is once time differentiable, we prove that there exist a system of potentials which describe the time derivative of the given dynamics by a convergent sum stated above. The fundamental technique for finding such potentials is a non-commutative expectation which is defined on the basis of a product state of the algebra. For each choice of a product state, we obtain one expectation which produces one set of potentials, all of which satisfy what we call the standardness condition and the convergence condition. We call this family of potentials standard potentials (corresponding to any specific choice of the product state). The standard potentials corresponding to different product states are different but produces the same time derivative, known as equivalent potentials.
