[en] This report is about cooperation method of nuclear energy among the USA, France and Canada. So it deals with building a cooperative system on nuclear technical relocation, researching a foreign policy on nuclear energy of the USA and cooperation method and cooperation trend of Japan, Canada, Russia, China and West Germany.
[en] This book introduces nuclear power industry in France, which includes position of nuclear power in the world energy market, state of nuclear power in France energy market, a fast-breeder reactor, the function of nuclear power plant, current situation of enriched uranium in France and the world and disposal of radioactive waste in France. It also report the nuclear department condition of the year 1979 about nuclear materials, nuclear application, foundation research, international relationship and publicity activities.
[en] This text, written by Engelbert Broda is about worldwide future energy-problems. Broda discusses and analyses questions out of important fields as energy waste, nuclear energy, nuclear fusion, solar-energy (solar-thermal options, solar-electrical options and solar-chemical options). (nowak)
[en] Nuclear power plant Krsko from 1982, produces the power which is very useful for the electric power system of the country. At the same time, the investors of the nuclear power plants from republics and autonomous provinces of Yugoslavia have organized the construction of series of nuclear power plants up to 2000. The purpose of this report is to explain those activities which have initiated the process of development and the use of energy for the power in Yugoslavia, and to continue the attempts to place the near future to the progress of this process. The base of these efforts has to be solving the very problem of decision making regarding the best solution of nuclear fuel cycle, the type of nuclear power plants in Yugoslavia and their construction. [en] Subject of this paper are data and analyses elaborated in connection with NPP Krsko project preparation and construction and plant start-up. These data and analyses, selected to be subject of this paper, are from our view point considered to be of significant value in future nuclear project planning and implementation programmed in Yugoslavia. They refer to project preparation activities, contracting, establishing of mutual relationship between two investors, project financing, nuclear legislation and regulations, project organization and personnel training and qualification. [en] This book describes the footprint of domestic electrification with domestic energy and the role of electrification, basic knowledge on domestic electrification, the basic things electric equipment in domestic, materials, part and making, demand of electricity, electrification and life, various electric equipment in the kitchen, rationalization of house chore, environment and hygiene like electric iron, electric stove, electric mat and dining wagon, beauty treatment and health, refinement and entertainment and lighting in houses.
[en] On 2 December 1942 the first man-made nuclear reactor went critical. The nuclear age was born. In his recently completed 'political history of nuclear energy' M. Goldschmidt traces the whole story of the nuclear age from the discovery of fission to the present day. In the extract from his book printed below, M. Goldschmidt tells of his personal involvement in the US nuclear research programme and of his contact with the workers at the University of Chicago; he reminds us that Fermi's achievement, historic as it was, was not the first chain reaction to take place on earth
[en] A comparative analysis of the direct-low and the recirculative heat disposal from nuclear power plants in case of hydro-meteorological conditions in Macedonia has been performed. A relatively simple but accurate and original methodology has been developed. Processing of the meteorological parameters, which determines the effect of recirculative cooling, is based on the hourly measured dry-bulb and wet-bulb air temperatures. The many-years water temperature change of the cooling pond, whose waters are used for nuclear power plant cooling, has been determined regarding to the basic assignment of the hydro-accumulation production: production of electrical energy and irrigation, In this paper an original methodology has been developed. The results are relatively stable in regard to the uncertainty of the hydro-meteorological parameters. the effect of the recirculative and direct-flow cooling have been verified using the economical indicators in connection with the nuclear power plant power level decrease and the corresponding electrical energy production decrease. The detailed solution of a given example in case of al conditions provides a specific importance for the performed comparative analysis. (author)
