AbstractAbstract
[en] We have demonstrated a new design of four-pass dye laser amplifier to reduce amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) in outer beam of the amplifier. Comparing to the results obtained from normal operation of the four-pass dye laser amplifier without a frequency selection device, by using a diffraction grating in the pass of the amplifier, we can reduce the ASE radio by factor in excess of 10 and increase output energy by ∼ 4%. The obtained ASE ratio of the four-pass amplifier system is < 1.5%.

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is well known that for an isolated resonance at energy Er with a resonant width Γ, the resonance structure can be described theoretically by the famous Fano formula in terms of an asymmetry parameter q and the nonresonant background cross section σb, i.e. The q parameter measures qualitatively the interference between contribution due to transitions from initial state to the bound and continuum components of the final-state wave function. A nearly symmetry structure profile, corresponding to a large q value, represents a resonance dominated by the contribution from the transition to the bound component of the final-state wave function.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We report on experimental realization of a very simple slow atomic beam from an axicon-mirror atom-trap (atomic funnel) and study of its characteristics such as longitudinal velocity distribution, beam divergence, and collimation effect. We also present comparison between the experimental data and the simulation result. On cold atomic beam can be useful as sourcing an atom fiber guide or atom interferometer, and loading a magneto-optical trap.

[en] We get a MOT in a conical hollow mirror which has a small hole of 150 μm at the apex. This is the pre-step to the generation of continuous cold atomic beam, atom lithography and atom deposition experiments.

AbstractAbstract
[en] A calculation of forward degenerated four wave mixing in a homogeneously broadened two-level saturable absorber is presented. In the limit of strong pumps and weak probe and signal, analytic solution of signal intensity in case of no pump absorption and depletion can be obtained. The results are discussed.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Intellectual nephelometer of open type designed by the authors for in situ studies of the atmosphere are described. The nephlometer operate in near IR wavelength range. The construction and concept of the devices allow them either to work independently during several hours or to be operated remotely at a distance up to 500 m from the central host computer. The results and their analysis of two weeks test at Kumkang Hu-Tech Co. are represented. This Nephelometer is a new class of intellectual instruments intended for long-term application on open air and allowing to receive qualitative and the quantitative information about a scattering coefficient in situ.
