AbstractAbstract
[en] Thermal power calibration of the nuclear instrumentation in the TRIGA reactor in Ljubljana is described. To correct for the position of the control rods, perturbation factors are introduced and the procedures to measure them are described. The use of the perturbation factors is shown to enable power readings from the nuclear instrumentation with an accuracy better than 2% standard deviation. This is a significant improvement compared to the case without corrections, where the displayed power can vary by as much as 30% in the most unfavourable case. (author)
