AbstractAbstract
[en] The possibility of using 250 kW TRIGA reactor for irradiation of power reactor pressure vessel specimens was analysed. Irradiation times for specimens at different locations in TRIGA reactor were calculated and influence of steel specimens on reactivity was estimated. It was found out that prescribed fluence 1019 ncm-2 of fast neutrons above 1 MeV can be reached in realistic times also in small TRIGA reactor but the damages caused in the material are not equivalent because the spectrum in TRIGA reactor is harder than in power reactor pressure vessel.
